I wanted to drop a note to the owner of LaMettry's.  I recently worked with Eric Johnson in the EP office for warranty work for my truck.  I was amazed at his willingness to follow through on the warranty for work done on my car many years ago by that shop.  I was expecting to get the usual 'fine print' answer and be passed over.  However, Eric took a look at the situation and stood up to your warranty and fixed the rocker panel on my truck.  Even when the solution took a more costly turn, he still did the right thing.  I wanted you to know that you have earned a customer here on out.  I have traditionally used you for body work when insurance covered issues but I will now use you for everything going forward.  I have always appreciated your services, but he went above and beyond this time.  I can't thank your team enough for their work.

Just a note to comment on the great service I received getting my Nissan body work done at LaMettry's Collision in Maplewood.  They kept me informed of my car status along the way.  And they detailed the car inside and out.  It looks like a showroom car--and believe me, the interior was not the cleanest going in.  Totally unexpected!    The bodywork and painting are excellent!

Absolutely top notch customer service and quality work done by LaMettry's. A neighbor of mine backed into the side of my car and my boss recommended I go to LaMettry's. He said they do great work and now I know why he was so confident in recommending them. They answered all my questions right away, set up a rental car for me and walked me through every aspect of the repair. What really puts them over the top for me is it was repaired in the dead of winter and throughout that time my fuel door had frozen shut (electronic release) and I called back to see if that could have been affected by the repair, and they replied that it wasn't and probably just froze shut and invited me to come back which by now was after hours and they fixed it with a heat gun for me.

 

The next day I mentioned that there was a lot of wind noise coming from the door they replaced. Chris and Troy made sure that issue was fixed right away. Troy even came to my work so that I wouldn't need to take time to drop it off.

 

I will always highly recommend LaMettry's.

Could not be more impressed with the level of service and guidance I received from LaMettry's. After another car backed into mine, denting my front bumper, I was nervous that my only choices were replacing the bumper or living with a dented car. Chris, the General Manager, told me he would take a quick look and come back to give me an assessment. Expecting him to come back with an estimate, he told me that he was able to just punch the dent out! And not only did it look like nothing had happened, Chris told me it was on the house! I accidentally drove out of my garage one day with my hatchback up - not one of my best moments.  The door got dented and wouldn't close properly.  I called my car insurance company to see if they could help with the work that needed to be done, and they sent me over to LaMettry's.  I believe the gentleman who helped me was named Greg - he was fabulous!! He told me my options - $600+ repair of the paint job and the dent, or a FREE quick fix of some silver paint and a quick tapping out of the dent.  I chose the free option and am still in shock, over a month later, over the generosity of giving me two options.  That's good business right there - they've won me as a customer for life!  In addition, I was impressed by the reception staff - instead of the usual bored, gum-popping receptionist, who barely has time to look up from her iPhone, I was greeted courteously, offered a place to sit in a clean and tidy waiting area (!) with lots to read and coffee and snacks.  Overall, it was a lovely experience! I've already recommended LaMettry's to my friends and family and I plan to be back the next time my car is in need of repairs.  Thank you so much, LaMettry's!!
