Our Contribution
We firmly believe that we’re only as good as our actions. That’s why we take an active stand for all our community values by donating time and resources to help those in need. Whether it’s repairing a vehicle for Recycled Rides™, or hosting a toy drive for Toys for Tots, we’re always looking for ways to give back to our Minneapolis & St. Paul MN family. After all, if it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t be here.
This is how our body shop makes a difference
- Repairing a vehicle to be donated to a military member in need through the Recycled Rides™ Program. LaMettry’s has repaired 9 vehicles through this program.
- Competing in the AASP-MN Race for Education Fundraiser.
- Supporting Children’s Hospital Annual Golf Event.
- Donating a car to the SMASH homecoming event at Lakeville North High School.
- Hosting a toy drive for Toys for Tots, with all LaMettry’s locations serving as toy drop-off locations.
- Participating in the American Cancer Society Denim Day Fundraiser.
- Special Olympics local fundraiser and golf event.
- Sponsoring the Rotary Club of Edina Car Show with all proceeds going to the Edina Rotary Foundation.
- Hosting a First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E.™) training.
Although we love our cars, we also love our environment, which is why we’ve started a number of green initiatives. All of our employees are actively involved in all of our efforts, and we continually find new ways to dramatically minimize the waste we produce, including:
- Recycling scrap metal, nuts, bolts and related materials.
- Recycling/reusing paint solvents, paper, cardboard and other business waste.
- Conservatively using heat and electricity by upgrading to more energy efficient equipment.
